Eplus3D's tool steel powders include ToolSteel 1.2709, MaragingSteel MS1alloys, and Tool Steel CM55. These powders have been tested for use on Eplus3D's metal 3D printers. Eplus3D also offers a wide range of validated processes for each of the above materials to ensure that the performance of the 3D printed parts is fully met.

Parts printed using Eplus3D ToolSteel 1.2709 show excellent mechanical properties and fatigue strength being heat treatable to various needs to obtain application appropriate hardness and strength.
