Maraging Steel is an ideal material for many industries, like tooling industries

Eplus3D's maraging steel powders include 18Ni300/1.2709 and 13Ni400. These powders have been tested for use on Eplus3D's metal 3D printers. Eplus3D also offers a wide range of validated processes for each of the above materials to ensure that the performance of the 3D printed parts is fully met.

Parts printed using Eplus3D MaragingSteel 18Ni300 / 1.2709 show excellent mechanical properties and fatigue strength being heat treatable to various needs to obtain application appropriate hardness and strength.

Typical Part Properties:

Density: 8.1 (g/cm³)

Tensile Strength: XY:1150±50 MPa; Z:1050±50 MPa

Yield strength: XY:1100±50 MPa; Z:950±50 MPa

Elongation @ Break: XY: 18±3 %; Z: 15±3 %

Hardness: 36±4HRC

Parts printed using Eplus3D MaragingSteel 13Ni400 show very good mechanical properties being easily heat treatable using a simple thermal age-hardening process to obtain excellent hardness and strength.

Tensile Strength: XY: 1370~1424 Mpa; Z: 1210~1289 Mpa

Yield strength: XY: XY: 1370~1424 Mpa; Z: 1210~1289 Mpa

Elongation @ Break: XY: 12~15.5 %; Z: 10~12.5 %

Hardness: 44~44.5 HRC
