Additive Manufacturing With Aluminum Alloys

Aluminum is an ideal material for many aluminum 3D printer industries, including aerospace and automotive.
Eplus3D's 3d printing aluminum powders include Alsi10Mg, AlSi7Mg and Aheadd® CP1. These 3d printing aluminum alloys have been tested for use on Eplus3D's metal 3D printers. Eplus3D also offers a wide range of validated processes for each of the above materials to ensure that the performance of the 3D printed parts is fully met.


Eplus3D Aluminum AlSi10Mg/3.2382

Parts printed using Eplus3D Aluminum AlSi10Mg offer good strength, hardness and dynamic properties as well as good thermal properties and low weight.

Density: 2.7 g/cm³
Tensile Strength: XY: 440 ± 30 MPa; Z: 460 ± 30 MPa
Yield strength: XY: 260 ± 20 MPa; Z: 230 ± 20 MPa
Elongation @ Break XY:  7 ± 3 %; Z: 7 ± 3 %
Hardness: 70 ± 3 HRB

Eplus3D Aluminum AlSi7Mg

Parts printed using Eplus3D Aluminum AlSi7Mg demonstrate outstanding performance in elevated temperatures up to 200 °C. The fast and simple heat treatment procedure enables an affordable part production.

Tensile Strength: XY: 423 ± 5 MPa; Z: 499 MPa
Yield strength: XY: 270 ± 5 MPa; Z: 287 MPa
