Additive Manufacturing With Aluminum

Aluminum is an ideal material for many industries, including aerospace and automotive.

Eplus3D's aluminum powders include Alsi10Mg and AlSi7Mg. These powders have been tested for use on Eplus3D's metal 3D printers. Eplus3D also offers a wide range of validated processes for each of the above materials to ensure that the performance of the 3D printed parts is fully met.

​Parts printed using Eplus3D Aluminum AlSi10Mg offer good strength, hardness and dynamic properties as well as good thermal properties and low weight.

Density: 2.65 (g/cm³)

Tensile Strength: XY:460±20MPa; Z:460±20MPa

Yield strength: XY:300±20MPa; Z:280±20MPa

Elongation @ Break 8±2%

Hardness: 55±5HRB

Parts printed using Eplus3D Aluminum AlSi7Mg demonstrate outstanding performance in elevated temperatures up to 200 °C. The fast and simple heat treatment procedure enables an affordable part production.

Yield strength: XY:270±5MPa; Z:287MPa

Elongation @ Break 12.5±0.5%
